12) Congenital Melanocytic Nevus
A pigmented spot on the skin present from birth is called a congenital melanocytic nevus. These spots can vary in color, including shades of brown, tan, pink, or black. Some congenital melanocytic nevi may also have dark, coarse hair growing from them. This condition is characterized by an excess of pigment-producing cells in a localized area, resulting in these distinct skin markings.
